2013 IEEE GHTC Student Paper Contest Status

This years competition was very close. We had submissions from the following countries: India, South Africa, Singapore, Palestine, Australia, Bangladesh and the United States of America.

I would like to thank jury (Uri Moszkowicz, Tom Coughlin, Nicole Skarke, Lennart Long and Denise Griffen) for taking the time out of their busy schedules to evaluate the student papers and ultimately determine the Top 5 papers moving on to the Final Round in San Jose, California during the #IEEEGHTC2013 Conference.

The third IEEE Global Humanitarian Technology Conference (GHTC) 2013, produced by IEEE Region 6 and the IEEE San Francisco Bay Area Council, is the IEEE’s flagship humanitarian conference. GHTC is designed to gather scientists,
